Nylon Insert (Inch) / Small Hex & Machine Screw

Our small Hex NM & Machine nylon insert locknuts are produced by forming and tapping nuts that include a tubular feature on top that receives a nylon ring. The tubular top is crimped to capture and hold the ring from spinning while the mating part self-threads into the nylon during assembly. The nylon ring size and the crimping process used to secure the ring must be controlled to tight tolerances.
