All-Metal FlexSix Light Hex Locknut (Inch)
Product Description
The Aztech All-Metal Light Hex FlexSix (inch) is a NASM25027-compliant, all-metal prevailing torque locknut developed as a qualified alternative to legacy products. It derives its locking action entirely from the geometry of the nut itself — six deflected metal “beams” that grip the bolt thread mechanically across these discrete, engineered contact segments. Each beam carries a proportional share of the load for a locking action that is secure, uniform, and repeatable. Threads are 3B fit, further supporting the precision and performance of the product line. Certification of testing and performance is provided with each shipment.
Available variations cover a range of requirements, including heavy and thin patterns in a wide range of materials, including Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass and Aluminum.
Applications
The FlexSix Hex Locknut is the preferred choice in Aerospace as well as the most demanding industrial applications. This sector includes highly stressed machinery, turbine generators, high end sports and recreation equipment, and heavy-duty transportation manufacturers — applications where impact, shock, and vibration resistance and superior prevailing torque endurance are required. As an all-metal design it performs across temperature extremes.
